IMPORTANT Data Management & Backup

IMPORTANT: ALWAYS BACKUP BEFORE ALTERING FOLDERS.

The BCSS program installs on your C: Drive in a folder named 'BCSS'. This folder contains your "Data Files"—the heartbeat of your shop including inventory and consignor records.

How to Backup:

To safely back up your data, copy the C:\BCSS folder to an external flash drive.
Note: Software must be officially "installed" on a new PC to work; simply copying the folder to another computer will not register the program.

Restoring Data:

In BCSS, navigate to Utilities > Restore Data. Select your backup location and click Save. Close and reopen the program to refresh your data.
